LABOR & BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY

In the photo industry, a model call is when a photographer selects a person or group of people to fulfill a role for a specific goal or project. In this case, the purpose it to expand the public portfolio and marketing materials available for Maiden, Mother, Crone Photography.

This is typically a one-time arrangement.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?

In return you, the model, receive 50 full-resolution images for your personal collection. All images will be selected by photographer. These and any additional images taken by photographer are subject to your approval before being publicly shared. Print release is included, plus you receive an extensive discount on any additional products and packages you would like to purchase.

All photos not selected for your downloads are subject to use by Maiden, Mother, Crone Photography for marketing and portfolio purposes.

COVERAGE

In addition to being on call from week 36 to week 42 of your pregnancy, your session coverage begins when I receive notification of active labor beginning and until up to 2 hours after the birth of your child. Together we will also discuss details of your birth plan and expectations of what will be photographed during your labor and birth.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

01 APPLY TODAY!

Submit your application NOW – there are limited spot available for this model call. Once the application is completed, you will wait to be selected. Don’t worry, it won’t take very long! If you are selected, we will have a consultation to review all the fine details and a contract will be sent over.

02 Review & Sign

If we’re a good fit, choose your package, pay your deposit (which will then be turned into purchase credits for additional items) and sign the contract. Now your due date will officially be on my calendar and we wait for labor! My calendar space is only reserved once contracts and deposits are complete – the sooner we get these in, the sooner your time is reserved! You then can rest assured that there is one less thing to worry about scheduling.

03 Birthday presents

On your baby’s birthday I will photograph your active labor, birth and up to 2 hours afterward. During that time, you only need to worry about birthing your baby. I take care of the rest. Then, you can expect to have a meeting with me within 14-21 days after you give birth to review your digital images and approve of album layouts.

The birth of your child is an event that has been months, if not years, in the making. Choosing to immortalize the moment when your child comes to this world, when you are focused on feeling the moment, allows you to be able to see the moment over and over again to relive this precious phase of both of your lives. Throughout all phases, the moment that you are in is blessed and unique to you in this time. As quickly as this stage has arrived, it will just as swiftly pass into a memory. Labor and Birth Photography allows an outside perspective to preserve the scene, providing an intimate lens into your most sacred moments at a time when you are inwardly focused. You will be able to remember every detail of your baby’s birth for the rest of your life. Not only that, your baby will know the story of how they are born.
